Known for a good night
The Cottage is the heart of Barton - and a few times a year the field behind it becomes the whole village's back garden. Fireworks in November, Bartonfest in the summer, and live music in the bar in between.
Friday 6th November · from 6pm
Fireworks Spectacular
Our Fireworks Spectacular is the biggest night of the Cottage's year. Gates open at 6pm with the outside bar and food trailer running, mulled wine and toffee apples to keep the cold off, and toy stalls for the children. The display goes up over the field behind the pub, and the live music carries on in the bar long after the last rocket.
Free entry - no ticket needed. Wrap up warm, and please leave dogs at home for the display.

Bartonfest
Bartonfest takes over the field by the river for a full afternoon and evening: live bands, an outside bar, food off the trailer and games for the children. Camp the night on one of our pitches and you have the shortest walk home of anyone there.
An outdoor event in the field - no table booking needed. Follow us for the date announcement.
